ILDS has more than 190 Member organisations. Our members can hold exclusive Sister Society meetings at the WCD, as well as receiving a discount WCD registration fee.
The World Congress of Dermatology (WCD) is organised by the ILDS and is one of the largest dermatology meetings in the world.
The first WCD was held in Paris in 1889. The event is held every 4 years, with the next one planned for 3-8 July 2023 in Singapore.
The WCD enables specialists to share their knowledge, research results and clinical experiences, and build their professional networks.
Over the past 130 years, the WCD has brought together experts and relevant organisations and raised the importance of skin diseases.
The theme for WCD 2023 is 'Dermatology Beyond Borders: Science, Care, Communities'.
The Congress aims to improve cooperation across geographic, political and economic borders and improve skin health for all. The broad programme covers clinical areas, community engagement and research.
This will be an inclusive event that celebrates diversity.
'Dermatology Beyond Borders’ encapsulates the hope for clinicians, researchers, industry and other partners who will gather in Singapore for the 2023 WCD to extend the boundaries of dermatology.
