Setting the Scene for Global Dermato-Epidemiology
30 Apr 2026
Global Dermato-Epidemiology Forum (GDEF) Seminar Series
We are pleased to launch the Global Dermato-Epidemiology Forum (GDEF) Seminar Series, a bi-monthly global programme bringing together dermatology, epidemiology, and public health to strengthen the evidence base for skin diseases and support translation into policy and practice.
The series forms part of the Global Dermato-Epidemiology Forum (GDEF), a collaborative initiative established in response to the World Health Assembly Resolution on Skin Diseases. GDEF provides an international platform for scientific exchange, collaboration, and coordinated action to address gaps in data on the burden of skin diseases worldwide.
