Indiana University, in partnership with the Medical College of Chittagong, aimed to develop and launch a teledermatology service for Rohingya refugees in Cox Bazaar, Bangladesh. This project aims to improve access to skin health services for refugees in the camps, who presently do not have access to basic skin health provisions. They are also planning to train frontline and community healthcare workers in the refugee camp to improve the accessibility and quality of the service.
The project was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but has been relaunched and is progressing.
