The British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) is the professional membership body for dermatologists in the UK. A charity dedicated to medical education, research, and professional practice and standards.
The mission of the BAD is to champion Dermatology in the UK for the public benefit. This means developing educational content and courses, facilitating and publishing dermatology research, running dermatology registries, holding dermatology events and conferences, promoting innovation in dermatology care, and engaging with decision-makers and stakeholders within the dermatology community and wider health system.
The Annual Meeting of the British Association of Dermatologists offers three full days of educational content covering all aspects of dermatology. They have plenary sessions with world renowned keynote lecturers, concurrent specialist sessions organised by our Special Interest Groups and Hot Topic talks. There is also a range of pre-conference sessions, a large pharmaceutical exhibition, e-posters and an accompanying social programme. Now in their 106th year, the meeting attracts around 1800 delegates from across the world to both the in-person event and the additional post event virtual access of the educational content.
