Established in 1948 in Havana, Cuba, the organisation has built a legacy of more than seven decades dedicated to advancing dermatological science and strengthening collaboration among Spanish and Portuguese-speaking dermatologists. Its leadership, consisting of the Board of Directors and National Delegates, is elected by members during the General Assembly held every two years.
The Ibero-Latin American Congress of Dermatology is the most complete result of CILAD's academic excellence, and is held every 2 years. This event brings together thousands of residents and dermatologists from all over the Ibero-Latin American region.
