99th Annual Meeting of the Hungarian Dermatological Society
26 Nov 2026
The Hungarian Dermatological Society will hold their 99th Annual Meeting between 26-28 November 2026.
The congress will bring together Dermatologists, Dermatovenereologists, researchers, residents, and allied healthcare professionals from Hungary and abroad to discuss current challenges and advances in clinical Dermatology, dermato-oncology, dermatopathology, infectious dermatology, and translational research.
The scientific programme will focus on key areas of contemporary dermatological practice where clinical decision-making is particularly challenging, including inflammatory and infectious skin diseases, sexually transmitted infections, mycology, acne and rosacea management, Dermatoscopy, contact dermatitis, experimental dermatology, and minimally invasive Dermatosurgery. Educational sessions will provide practical, evidence-based updates directly applicable to everyday clinical practice.
The meeting will also highlight international scientific collaboration through invited lectures and honorary recognitions awarded to distinguished European dermatologists and researchers. During the congress, the Hungarian Dermatological Society will honour Prof. Dr. Branka Marinovic (University of Zagreb School of Medicine, Croatia), Prof. Dr. Georg-Sorin Tiplica (Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania), and Prof. Dr. Lidija Kandolf (Military Medical Academy, Belgrade, Serbia) for their outstanding contributions to European Dermatology and Dermatovenereology.
Special emphasis will be placed on supporting young investigators and strengthening international scientific collaboration through dedicated exchange and mobility programmes. Within the “Nicolas Simon Eastern European Experimental Dermatology Collegiality Diploma” programme, two young Estonian researchers will participate in the congress, contributing to scientific exchange and early-career networking within the field of experimental dermatology.
In addition, the “Experimental Dermatology Grant for Austrian Scientists to Facilitate Austrian-Hungarian Scientific Collaboration” further supports bilateral research cooperation between Austria and Hungary. This initiative reflects the Hungarian Dermatological Society’s commitment to fostering long-term scientific partnerships, promoting collaborative research projects, and enhancing academic exchange between researchers from both countries in the field of dermatological sciences.
Alongside the scientific sessions, the congress will host the Dermato-Pharma Exhibition and a dedicated Healthcare Professionals’ Section, further enrich the professional programme and supporting interdisciplinary exchange.
The official language of the conference is Hungarian, with selected presentations and international sessions available in English.
