14 Oct 2026
Following an exceptional number of nominations submitted by our esteemed ILDS Members, we are delighted to announce the recipients of the ILDS 2027 Young Dermatologist International Achievement (YDIA) Award.
The YDIA Award recognises recently qualified dermatologists who are already making significant contributions to international dermatology, particularly through their work to improve care for underserved populations around the world. The calibre of nominations received was exceptionally high, making the selection process highly competitive. Ultimately, only one recipient from each of the six ILDS regions could be selected.
The 2027 recipients will attend the 26th World Congress of Dermatology in Guadalajara, Mexico, in June 2027, where they will be formally presented with their award. The Congress will also provide a valuable opportunity to connect with global dermatology leaders, exchange knowledge, and build international professional networks.
